This evening we held our Annual Friends & Family Harvest Dinner, dining on a deliciously prepared beef bourguignon with root vegetable dinner- accompanied by a fall squash soup, pie, and a cinnamon spiced cider cocktail! A wonderful time was had by all!

Happy Veteran Day!
Today was a day filled with patriotism, pride, and community as we celebrated our Veterans.
We were so “present in the moment” during our Annual Veterans Day Presentation that not one photo was taken- tears of pride were shed, applause was abundant, and personal stories were shared in a beautiful time together.
This evening we were honored to serve over 40 Residents & Family members in a special Veterans Invite Only dinner, for an extended time of fellowship with a delicious meal prepared by Community Life Coordinator Kenzie, with side kicks Volunteer Julie (who made the fantastic dessert) and Community Life Director Alissa (who lead the clean-up crew)
A special thank you to Sara from Interim for prepping & distribution of pins and certificates during the program, Deacon Michael for assistance with the prayers, The Jammers for providing music during the presentation, Jimmy & Aaron from Maintenance for their help with setting up the dining room, James & Amayah from Unidine for cleanup assistance after dinner, Assistant Executive Director Carissa for plating assistance, Volunteer Pamela for serving and cleaning assistance, and especially to all of our Resident Veterans- for joining us for this beautiful day of celebration and remembrance!

Today, we proudly celebrate the 250th Birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps — a milestone marking two and a half centuries of courage, commitment, and honor.
Here at The Glenn Minnetonka, we are especially grateful for the former Marines who call our community home. Your bravery, discipline, and service to our nation continue to inspire us every day.
From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli — and right here in our halls — your legacy lives on.
