The Glenn Catholic Senior Communities, Inc. (formerly St. Therese Southwest, Inc.) began providing exceptional service to the senior community in 1988. The Glenn Hopkins started with one independent living building set on original Feltl farm at 1011 Feltl Court, a building now known as The Towers. Under the direction of a dedicated Board of Directors in 2003, The Glenn Hopkins opened a new addition now known as the Terraces, that included assisted living and memory care.

With the founding principles of a belief in the dignity and value of each individual and the understanding that every senior desires to live in a welcoming, vibrant and supportive community; The Glenn Hopkins offers a senior community that is not just a place to stay, but a place to LIVE. The Glenn offers the amenities and services that create a vibrant retirement lifestyle.

Our Neighborhood

The city of Hopkins has become a vibrant suburb within the southwest corridor of the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. With roots dating back to 1893, the “village of West Minneapolis”, officially became known as Hopkins in 1928 in honor of its first homesteader and postmaster, Harley H. Hopkins. (Civic Plus, 2019). Enriched with a busy main street downtown district, the city of Hopkins has kept its small-town appeal amidst the changing suburban landscape.

The Glenn Hopkins is located on 14 breathtaking acres resting on the border or Minnetonka, Edina and Hopkins, away from the bustle of the city yet close enough for convenience. Many local stores, malls, pharmacies, and clinics are all within a short distance and are included in our complimentary weekly shuttle bus schedule.

The Glenn Hopkins offers the beauty of a natural environment with Willow pond and walking trails in the backyard, the convenience of a location close to shopping, arts and entertainments, dining and other activities, and the benefits of many amenities that are close at hand.
