Although our campus is made from bricks and mortar like all other buildings, it is the staff that really make the difference when caring for your loved ones. Our staff are committed to two simple things – creating a clean, and friendly, environment for our residents and guests.


Adopting the philosophy of maximizing the strengths of each individual, our leadership team members each bring a wealth of experience to our community. Please let us introduce you to some of the staff who will help you make the key decisions in selecting the right apartment and care that best meets the needs of you or your loved one.

Tammie Graupmann, Executive Director

Tammie comes to The Glenn Buffalo with leadership experience Senior Living, Adult Day Programs, Mental Health, and Sales and Marketing. Tammie is a Licensed Assisted Living Director, and is forever passionate about serving her residents, families, and her team at The Glenn. In her spare time, Tammie loves to spend time on the lake with her family and friends and is a forever fan of the Minnesota Vikings.

Kathy Czanstkowski, Marketing Coordinator

Kathy has been working at The Glenn Buffalo since 2016. She graduated from Lake Superior College with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts & Science and was working towards her paralegal degree. Kathy came in as a temp and chose to stay with us permanently. “It was a no-brainer for me after bonding with everyone that this is where I belong. My favorite thing about my job is being able to do so many different things. I love learning and being able to assist in all the different departments. Whether I am sewing a hole in a shirt, re-potting plants, or just listening to resident’s stories you never know what the day will bring.”

Carrie Heil – Business Office Coordinator

Carrie comes to The Glenn Buffalo with over 20 years experience in the healthcare field in a variety of settings with included vision impairment and memory loss. She started out as a CNA, and prior to joining the team at The Glenn, worked as a certified Brailist. She feels that taking care of people is more than just a job, it is her calling, and she is very excited to be a part of our team.

Chuck Weiland, Maintenance Coordinator


Chuck has been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years. He has been with the Glenn Buffalo serving as maintenance coordinator for 2 years. He enjoys working with the residents, families and staff on a daily basis. 

Amber Fuchs, MC Activity Coordinator


I graduated from Crown College is St. Bonifacious with a degree in Social work. My studies in Social work has been valuable in my work with Alzheimer/Memory Care residents and added to that is my passion for art and creativity. I believe it is my calling to provide “the best day ever” each day with my residents. Providing them with painting opportunities, the satisfaction of making a craft that is worthy of display, coffee chats and a party to celebrate numerous occasions bring so much joy to each one. I can bring music into their lives and much needed one on one time. 

Sarah Zimmermann, Kitchen & Dining Coordinator


As a mother of 3, My cooking career was born out of necessity, but quickly blossomed into my passion. I graduated from Hennepin Technical College in 2014 with an AAS degree in culinary arts, determined to turn my passion into others pleasure. My career has taken me to some amazing places and I have had the honor of working with some amazing chefs. Most notably Dave Martin from Top Chef. I was a kitchen manager for The Red Goat until November of 2015 and then as a cook for Bait and Hook until July 2016. I began at The Glenn Buffalo as a cook and in April of 2018 I took the position of Dining Coordinator.

Brittany Decker, Director of Nursing


Brittany started her career with Great Lakes Management/The Glenn Buffalo as an RN Case Manager for The Glenn. She then moved up into a position at the corporate level as a Regional Float Nurse. Through this experience Brittany feels that she gained the knowledge and experience needed to become a stronger Nurse for her residents and staff. In Oct of 2022 Brittany returned to The Glenn Buffalo as our Director of Nursing! Brittany says that coming back to Buffalo was equivalent to the feeling of returning home.

Brenda Ward, Resident Service Coordinator AL


After working in both of our communities for many years, Brenda has found that her bond with her residents and families of The Glenn has made her stronger in her role as Resident Service Coordinator. Brenda enjoys building relationships with residents and families, which helps to create an easy and trusting transition between home and assisted living.

Autum Nelson, Resident Service Coordinator MC


Autum worked in Memory Care for 10 years in Buffalo as a Resident Assistant before accepting the Resident Services Coordinator. this has given her the opportunity to see and learn all aspects of the dementia process and to better support her families and employees. Autum loves her job and feels passionate about the quality of care given. She enjoys working closely with staff and family to ensure all needs are met and that trust is built.

Rebecca “Becca” Lehn, Receptionist


Rebecca comes to The Glenn Buffalo with years of customer service experience and a fun energy to go with it. Becca has been a team player since day one with her willingness to help out wherever needed and always has a smile on her face. When asked what she likes most about her position, her response was: “getting to know all of the residents is so fascinating, and to know that I could make a small impression in their lives by giving a smile, or helping with whatever they need is fulfilling. I was raised to respect my elders, and the best way to do that is to be there for them.
