Amenities & Activities
The Glenn Buffalo Assisted Living community provides a wide variety of life-enrichment components including outings to Buffalo Lake, Music in The Park, luncheons, community events, and shopping – in addition to a wide range of activities and social events hosted onsite.
The Glenn Buffalo Memory Care community provides resident-specific life-enrichment activities, as well as group activities, designed to promote familiarity and recognition of surroundings.

Wanted to start early and advertise. Anyone is welcome to decorate a car and hand out candy. This will be at the Memory Care only. Please let Amber in activities know if you are interested in participating. This will be so fun and the residents love it too.

The Glenn AL community came together to enjoy a fun-filled carnival, complete with a cake walk, duck pond, and sweet treats like cotton candy and popcorn. The dunk tank was a highlight, with residents taking great joy in dunking their favorite staff members! 🎡 🍿

In recognition of Assisted Living Week, we would like to extend our appreciation to the activity directors in our facilities. 🎃🧖Today was pumpkin spice spa day! 🧖🎃 The ladies had an amazing time with pumpkin spice face masks, lotions, and aromatherapy. They're feeling so relaxed and spicy! 😉
After enjoying their pumpkin spice facials, the ladies prepared a delightful treat - pumpkin pie in a cup - which they served during snack time!

To make our homeless mats, we fold the plastic bags and Amber cuts and crochets them. Our current total is 12 mats. The homeless shelter in mlps receives and gives them to the homeless.

🌴🏖️ When the kitchen staff heads out on vacation, it's all hands on deck! 🚣♀️ Our Activities coordinator, Executive Director, CNA's, and nursing staff team up to cook and serve. Talk about a recipe for success! 🍳👨🍳

Our residents enjoyed a “YOLO” event! YOLO means “You Obviously Love Oreos!” We taste tested 9 different Oreo flavors, learned the history of the Oreo cookie, and voted on best flavor. Did you know Oreos are the world’s number one cookie? And original Oreos were our favorite!

We engaged in building a grandparent. We constructed grandma potato and grandpa potato. We are getting ready for grandparents day on Sunday.

Our residents enjoyed a cake PAINTING class. You couldn’t decorate your cake you had to paint a frosting picture! We had creative and interesting paintings.

Our resident s had a musical day today? Assisted Living came to Memory Care and did a sing-along-long with the residents. Then we passed out ice cream cones! Great time!
