Amenities & Activities
The Glenn Buffalo Assisted Living community provides a wide variety of life-enrichment components including outings to Buffalo Lake, Music in The Park, luncheons, community events, and shopping – in addition to a wide range of activities and social events hosted onsite.
The Glenn Buffalo Memory Care community provides resident-specific life-enrichment activities, as well as group activities, designed to promote familiarity and recognition of surroundings.

Today I hosted a “Pop and Chat” event, where I served a variety of specialty soda pops not typically available at the Glenn, and facilitated meaningful conversations with a selection of thought-provoking questions. It’s amazing what you can find out about your residents!

Shiver me timbers! Pirate life is the life for me! We celebrated Talk Like a Pirate Day in style. We all got fake tattoos, devoured scrumptious cookies courtesy of Steph. We also chomped on pirate's booty popcorn. And, of course, we had epic boat races arrr we emerged victorious!

What do you do when the residents keep asking you to go camping? Well you take them camping of course! I reserved a campsite at Baker Park and we were there early this morning! We had hot coffee and cinnamon rolls by the campfire. We walked around the park and played games, roasted marshmallows and ate wonderful bagged lunches made by our kitchen staff! We didn’t go back home until it was time for dinner! A perfect day!

With hunting season underway, we're wearing our hunting hats and practicing our marksmanship in pursuit of the largest buck around. After a productive practice session, we relished some delicious jerky and lemonade.

Spreading happiness was the theme of the day. We began by beading sunflower pens and adding a heartfelt note. Each resident then gifted a pen to a staff member, sharing the joy. The day was made even more special with a visit from Sunshine Flower company, where we created stunning sunflower bouquets.🌻🌻🌻❤️❤️❤️
